We got the keys for our new house today, we are officially home owners!!!

Moving and such

I have been MIA for a while, but for good reason! We are moving again.... but this time we are buying a house, WOOO HOOOOO!!! We should be closing in the next couple of weeks, then I will post pictures. I thought packing with one small child was tough last time, but with two small children it is even harder! I am really excited to finally be staying in one place! I have a lot of catching up to do, Marley has turned one since I posted last, we have been camping, and swimming, my best friend had a baby, we saw a beached whale, and all sorts of other things, but details on all of that will come in due time :) (hopefully) Sorry for such a quick sort of up date, but that is all I have time for...

Daddy Daughter Date

Jeff and Khloe went to a daddy daughter date at the church yesterday. Khloe was very excited! We got her a new dress (she needed one for church anyway) and did her hair. She felt like a princess!  Jeff said she had some sweet dance moves that he had never seen before :) It sounded like they both had a great time.

I tried curling her hair with my straight iron, but I could tell it would not stay, so we had to go to plan B

Valentine's Day

Khloe is at such a fun age because she gets very excited about the littlest things. I don't decorate my house for Valentine's day, but I knew that Khloe would love it, so last night after she went to bed I put up some heart garland. She was so excited to wake up this morning and see all of the hearts! She said " I super like it!" "It is really cute...cute, cute!" "I love it!" Seeing her excitement made it totally worth it :)

 I had planned to make Khloe heart shaped pancakes for breakfast, but she insisted on cereal. So we had pancakes for lunch. Instead of using a cookie cutter to cut a big heart that I would then cut into smaller pieces, I used a little one so that they were bite sized hearts. Again, Khloe loved it!

 I have a new obsession with pintrest, and saw a little girls hairstyle that I wanted to try on Khloe today. It actually worked! Khloe had hearts in her hair all day, she looked so cute. I couldn't believe that I managed to do it first try.

Growing up my mom always made a Valentine's day dinner for us. It usually consisted of pink and red foods. I loved it, so I want to do the same thing for my girls. Our good friends Marnie and Charlotte came over and joined us for dinner because her husband was working too. This year we had little individual pizzas with heart shaped pepperoni, strawberry slices cut into the shape of hearts, raspberry jello jigglers, and a big rice crispy treat heart for dessert. I had to take pictures for memories sake. After dinner we did some finger painting then went to bed. Overall it was a great day! I hope you all (and by all I mean the 3 people who read my blog)had an awesome Valentine's day too!!!

On the move

Little Miss Marley has decided to become mobile. It is great and exciting that she has reached that milestone, but now she thinks she is so big and likes to get into everything. Her favorite thing to do is pull herself up and press all of the buttons on the DVD player. I knew once she became mobile I was in trouble, and I am pretty sure I am right. I caught her first crawl on video. (I apologize for those who have seen this already, apparently I have a sister who likes to post these things on her facebook page with out telling me)

What the?

So ever since I decided to have a blog, my husband constantly makes fun of it. No suprise there. I am okay with the fact that Jeff is anti social media. So you can imagine my suprise when Jeff came downstairs today and told me that he had something to tell me. He had this tone in his voice like 'I know you will make fun of me for this' What is this life altering news he had to tell me you ask? Jeff has a facebook page?!?! So, just for fun I told him I was going to blog about it. :) Oh revenge is sweet! All of his ridicule about my blog = I am so making fun of him for having facebook!
