Double Digits

I am officially in the double digits on my pregnancy countdown! 99 days to go. However if this little one is anything like her big sister, she will take her precious time getting here :) I am so much bigger now then I was with Khloe at this point. I was shocked when last month I had gained 7 lbs in a month. You can imagine my surprise when I beat that this month with an additional 9 pound weight gain! That means I am only 4 pounds away from my total weight gain with Khloe, and I still have 15 weeks to go! Now I expected to get bigger with my second, but I did not think it would happen within a couple of months. Oh well, maybe this will be a fat baby like her mom was :) As long as she is healthy, I can deal with the rest.

Peas

Anyone who knows my child is aware that the girl does not eat much. of anything. Whatever I can get her to eat always tends to be filler foods with little to no nutritional value. Things like goldfish crackers, mac and cheese, cereal ect. In my defense I never used to give her things like goldfish crackers, but when she never eats anything you eventually take what you can get. Despite my efforts to get her to eat real food it just does not happen very often. Tonight however this worked to my advantage. Her favorite cereal is Cap'n crunch with crunch berries. I gave her a chicken pot pie for dinner and when she saw the peas inside, she thought it was cereal (one of the crunch berries is green) and although she only took four or five bites, she ate peas! This may seem like no big deal, but in the case of Khloe this is huge! Not to mention that I could not get her to eat peas even when she was a baby. She just refused to eat anything green. Now thanks to crunch berries, she ate like 5 peas, woohoo!!! I am pretty excited about our small success tonight. Sorry this is a completely uneventful post in the eyes of every other person out there but me, but I was so happy I just had to share :)

Freezing Rain

You don't get snow very often when you live where I do, but yesterday we woke up to 4-5 inches. Today that has turned to freezing rain. It is times like this that I am thankful to be able to be indoors with heat and food. Here are a few pictures of right outside my apartment...

I Am A Child Of God

This is my first attempt at a video, so I hope it works. At night before Khloe goes to sleep she likes me to sing a song. Now let me preface this by saying that singing is not one of my strong points, but Khloe doesn't seem to mind :) I Am A Child Of God is one of our favorites to sing. I am usually the one singing, but this night Khloe actually joined in with me. This "video" has no video to watch because it was dark in her room, so this is strictly a video for listening. Again I apologize that you have to hear me in here too, but Khloe was just too cute. (Also she stops singing about 45 seconds into it, so spare yourself and stop watching after that).

Not quite sure

I decided I wanted to change the background on my blog. However, I am not sure how to do this. When I set up my blog I used a template. I went to one of the websites that lets you use cute backgrounds, I followed the instructions, but only a part of my blog actually changed. So I erased it and I am back to what I have always had. I am just dumb, or is there a trick to getting my blog changed?

HELP!!!

Since finding out I am having another girl, I decided that Khloe and the new baby would share a room. I wanted to (with a lot of help) make some bedding for Khloe's toddler bed that would match the existing crib set that I have. Here is the part where I need help, I can't find my fabric ANYWHERE. The crib set was made with several different fabrics, and I can find all of them except for one. However this one that I can not find is my favorite part of the set. It is called pink somerset by braemore. So if anyone knows where I can find it PLEASE let me know! I am getting desperate at this point :(
